Mastro Subaru Play of the Week – Davis Diamond With a Nasty Move!

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
As always we had some great submissions for the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week!  This week was no exception.  We have three that deserve some love but one particularly nasty move, in our humble opinion, is a clear cut winner. Mastro Banner Our second runner up was a great play made by a kid who had a great week.  This play by Marc Galindo shows the kind of athleticism and determination it takes to score 19 goals in one week.  He gets tripped up, goes to the ground, and manages to finish one handed.  Check it out. Our first runner up is Zach Ott.  He’s playing JV at Nease.  We don’t care if it’s a JV game, this kid throws a nice fake that sends the defender running the wrong way.  As he makes a nice top right score his defender is literally ten feet away.  JV or not, that’s a nasty fake. And speaking of Nasty! This move by Davis Diamond is a nice one.  First, we have to admit a couple of things.   Yep, it was an EMO and it looks like Stoneman was shutting off  Nick Diamond on the crease so help was a little late.  And he probably could have just turned the corner and dinked and easy goal.  But hey, he goes BTB! Play of the Week is at least partly about style.  And this one has style!   Here it is, the Mastro Subaru Play of the Week!
