What camps, clinics, or tournaments are on your schedule for the rest of the off-season?
I am playing in the Champions and Capital Cup this summer and the Presidents Cup in the fall.
What was your first lacrosse experience? And how long have you been playing?
My first lacrosse experience was in second grade when I started playing for a rec league in my town. I have been playing for about eight years.
What is your favorite lacrosse memory?
My favorite lacrosse memory is playing on the same team as my brothers in eighth grade and winning the championship with them.
How would you describe your style of play?
I would say I am a pretty active goalie. I like coming out of the crease to make interceptions and get groundballs.
What is important to you in selecting a college?
Great academics and a good lacrosse program.
What do you think you will study in college?
Biology.
Which college team or players do you most enjoy watching?
I really enjoy watching Caylee Waters, the goalie for UNC. She’s very athletic in goal and takes risks.
Who was your biggest lacrosse influence?
My biggest lacrosse influence is my dad. He introduced me to the game and is my biggest supporter.
What is your lacrosse goal for 2016?
I would love to win a district title with my high school team.
How would you describe your high school team?
My team is so much fun to be around. We have a ton of talent, but are a relatively young team. We have a lot of potential.
Do you have any pre-game rituals?
I drink coffee before every game.
Would you rather ride the bench on a great team OR start for a mediocre team?
Start for a mediocre team.
What is the last thing you binge watched on Netflix?
Gossip Girl
Twitter or Instagram?

Highlight tape:
Liza is an outstanding goalie in both the cage and in the clearing game, as you can see in her highlight tape above. She will look to lead a St. Andrew’s defense that allowed more than 12 goals in a single game only twice in 2015.
Last season the Scots finished 6-8 in Coach Skonieczki’s first year at the helm, but I expect a more impressive 2016 for St. Andrew’s. On top of Diamond, the Scots have three academic all-americans returning in Bella Kneider, Elizabeth Bartzokis and Amalie Jorgensen, plus rising sophomores Emma Braden and Ally Ellerstein.
