Sunshine State Games (Champions) Summer Showcase Baltimore, MD (4-0) IWCLA Champions Cup Richmond, VA (3-0-1) U-15 National Championship Richmond, VA (6-2 Placed 10th) Florida Southern College Lacrosse Clinic What was your first lacrosse experience? And how long have you been playing? I was 6 years old when I started playing lacrosse with Boca Jets Lacrosse. This is my 10th year playing lacrosse. What is your favorite lacrosse memory? At the Sunshine State Games, I won the draw in a Braveheart in the final play-off game against Stickbenders, which enabled us to score and win the Championship! How would you describe your style of play? My style of play is “heads-up” and aggressive. What do you think is the strongest part of your game? What are you working to improve? The strongest part of my game is the draw control and my ability to transition the ball up the field. I am working on my speed and stamina. What is important to you in selecting a college? In addition to academics, I want to play lacrosse at a college or university that has a great lacrosse coach. What do you think you will study in college? My interest is in the Healthcare/Medical field. Which college team or players do you most enjoy watching? I enjoy watching both men’s and women’s college lacrosse games and I love the NCAA finals. Who was your biggest lacrosse influence? My parents are both from Long Island, and they have been lacrosse fans from their high school days. They signed me up to play lacrosse at a very young age with Boca Jets Lacrosse. Scott Braden was my lacrosse coach for a number of years and a big lacrosse influence along with my travel lacrosse coach, Rob Wurzburger. What is your lacrosse goal for 2016? My goal for 2016 is to have a winning season with both my High School and Travel lacrosse teams. How would you describe your high school team? My High School team is like a big family. How would you like your teammates to describe you? I would like my teammates to describe me as a leader, a “team” player, a person they can depend on. Do you have any pre-game rituals? I enjoy listening to music to pump me up and I always make sure that I eat before the game so I have energy. Would you rather ride the bench on a great team OR start for a mediocre team? I would rather sit on the bench with a great team. Practicing with a great team, learning from the coach, working hard and improving my skills –will hopefully pay off and enable me future playing time with the team.
