Miami Country Day School tops Immaculata LaSalle

A young Miami Country Day School team, who is looking to gel late in the season, pulled out a win over Immaculata LaSalle on Tuesday night.  This game has huge ramifications on the final spot in the District 15 post-season tournament.  They were led in scoring by Senior Zac Surujon.  In addition to Surujon the team has been led this season by Dylan Schwartz and Brian Hernandez on the offensive end of the field.  Defenseman James Callado and junior goalie and Team Captain Mark Chaplin lead an all junior defense.  MCDS improves to 4-5 on the season with but they are 4-2 where it counts, in district play.  Immaculata LaSalle drops to 3-4 on the season and 1-4 in District 15. Next up for MCDS is a trip to District 15 rival Belen Jesuit (3-3, 2-2).  Immaculata LaSalle will host Archbishop McCarthy (4-3).
