via press release – photo via MLL web site   BOSTON (June 5, 2017) – Charlotte Hounds midfielder John Crawley was named the Cascade Rookie of the Week for Week 7. Charlotte selected Crawley with the No. 33 pick in the 2017 MLL Collegiate Draft last weekend. Crawley, 22, scored two goals in the first quarter just three minutes apart. The Johns Hopkins product scored on a man-up situation to begin Charlotte’s nine-goal streak in the second quarter and then scored back-to-back goals just twenty-seconds apart to begin the third. Crawley finished with a game-high six goals and added an assist. Crawley is the first Cascade Rookie of the Week to be named for the 2017 season.
