via press release   Warrior Offensive Player of the Week Eric Law, clearly excited to be back in action coming off of Injured Reserve, led the Outlaws over the Cannons with five goals and two assists. Law and John Grant Jr. played a tremendous two-man game with Grant Jr. scoring or assisting on nearly half of Law’s points.   Warrior Defensive Player of the Week Joel White is a defensive force to be reckoned with and proved that against the Bayhawks in the Rochester victory. White tallied an assist on the day while picking up six groundballs.   Cascade Rookie of the Week The Chesapeake Bayhawks drafted John Maloney with the 22nd overall selection. Coming off a strong career at Albany, Maloney made his presence known with three points (1G, 2A) and eight groundballs in just his second game with the Bayhawks.   Game Results   Rochester Rattlers 18 Chesapeake Bayhawks 14   Home is where the heart is, and for the Rochester Rattlers, where the victories are.  Rochester hosted their season opener and Jesse King had his coming out party with a seven point (5G, 2A) performance on the night to lead the Rattlers to their first win of the season.   Denver Outlaws 17 Boston Cannons 13   The Outlaws returned home this past week and used their rowdy home crowd to fuel them to their second win of the season.
