via press release – photo via the MLL   After an overtime win in Rochester last weekend, the Florida Launch (2-2) hope to continue their successes this Sat., May 27 when they take on the Ohio Machine (2-2) at Fortress Obetz in Obetz, Ohio. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. The game will air live on Lax Sports Network. This weekend’s matchup marks the long awaited return of two-time MLL All-Star Kieran McArdle to the lineup. An integral player last season (56 points), McArdle gives the Launch a new edge moving into their matchup against the Machine. “I just think Kieran creates matchups,” said coach Tom Mariano to Lax Sports Network. “He’s tough. He’s a competitor.” This Sunday, the Launch look to continue strengthening the roster with the 2017 Collegiate Draft. With four top ten picks, including the first overall selection, Florida expects to be a big player in the draft. For live draft updates and game score, follow the Launch on Twitter.

“I think we look at this draft as the ability to add some juice a little bit, some young legs, some life, some energy, and a little extra pop,” said Mariano. “We like our team now. We like what we’re doing. The draft can give us some depth and some versatility that we have a little bit, but we don’t have enough right now.” The Launch return to FAU Stadium on June 10 to take on the New York Lizards at 7 p.m. For tickets, call 561-923-9067 or click here.
