via MLL press release   Paul Rabil, Jack Kelly, and Jay Carlson Earn Week 13 Awards   Warrior Offensive Player of the Week Paul Rabil chipped in seven points including the game winning goal for the New York Lizards in a huge win over Rochester this weekend. The All-Star was on fire and put on quite the performance for thousands of fans who tuned in to watch him play.   Warrior Defensive Player of the Week Jack Kelly continues to dominate in the cage and made 17 huge saves in the much needed victory over Charlotte, including 7 saves in the final quarter to secure the win. Kelly has found his rhythm and continues to be a strong force in the defensive end for the Outlaws.   Cascade Rookie of the Week Jay Carlson, the rookie out of Maryland, had an impressive game against his former team, the Atlanta Blaze, and tallied a career high four goals and one assist. Carlson’s standout performance shows that he can compete with the veterans in the League.   Chesapeake Bayhawks 18 Atlanta Blaze 13 The Bayhawks pulled off a five- point victory over the visiting Blaze team this past Thursday night securing their spot in the first place ranking for the League. Jay Carlson had a breakout performance while Brian Phipps made 19 huge saves. Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Myles Jones   Charlotte Hounds 14 Florida Launch 10 The Hounds took an early lead and secured their first win of the weekend on Friday night against the Florida Launch. Mike Chanenchuk led the offense with four goals and one assist while Ryan Brown had a hat trick in the victory. Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Mike Chanenchuk   New York Lizards 16 (OT) Rochester Rattlers 15 A much needed overtime win for New York moves the Lizards back into second place and closer towards the playoffs. Rob Pannell tallied six points for the Lizards while Drew Adams made 21 saves leading them to this huge victory. Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Paul Rabil   Florida Launch 14 Atlanta Blaze 8 Florida was able to grab one win this weekend and maintained the lead throughout the whole game against Atlanta. Kieran McArdle started the offense off with the first goal of the night and went on to score three more later in the game while Lyle Thompson had two goals and four assists in the win. Coca-Cola Player of the Game: Lyle Thompson   Denver Outlaws 12 Charlotte Hounds 11 Charlotte hosted the Outlaws in their second game of the weekend but was unable to pull off another victory. The Outlaws continue to fight for a chance at the playoffs and secured an important one goal victory this weekend. Michael Bocklet and Matt Kavanagh led the offense with a combined seven goals in the win.
