Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Florida’s premier college recruiting showcase, Nexstar, announces its 8th year of operation. Returning to the original home base of Tequesta Trace Park in Weston, Florida, the showcase will continue to provide the premier opportunity in South Florida to be evaluated by College coaches from around the country. The event, to be held on Saturday, January 7th and Sunday, January 8th 2017, will be open to boys from 8th through 12th grade.  Each day’s session will start at 9:00am.     In addition, based on the huge success at its debut last year, the showcase will repeat the youth clinic for boys from K – 7th grade. The clinic will allow participants to benefit from world class coaching and develop skills in preparation for future showcases. Headlining the presentation and discussion about getting recruited will be Seth Tierney, Head Coach at Division One’s Hofstra.    (photo via MLL web site)   Founder and Director Doug Shanahan, says he is excited about the event and hopes to continue to assist South Florida youth to be recruited by the best colleges throughout the country.
