Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in Uncategorized.
Oak Hall’s senior middie, Phillip Yonge, has committed to Sewanee: The University of the South. Phillip has a 3.9 GPA and plans to study International Relations at Sewanee. In addition to Oak Hall, Phillip plays club lacrosse for the Florida Generals and is a member of Team Florida.
Sewanee plays NCAA DIII lacrosse in the Southern Athletic Association. The Tigers won the SAA championship last season and played in the NCAA Tournament before losing to the eventual finalist Lynchburg.
“I would like to thank all of the coaches at Oak Hall, but specifically Coach Jonathan Montes, who has continued to push, challenge, and support me. I have also been fortunate to have a very supportive family and most importantly, been lucky enough to play with such a great group of guys at Oak Hall for the past 5 years.”
