Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
Palm Beach Central’s Jasey Sanders has signed her NLI to play D1 lacrosse at Campbell University. Jasey was named to District 2nd Team defense (2009) 1st Team as a defender (2010) and as middie (2011) and to the All Conference 2nd team for defense(2011). She earned a spot on the Under Armor All-American South Team and the South Florida Lacrosse National Tournament Team. Jasey played for Lax Maniax Black where she competed in many in-state and out of state tournaments. She also played golf and roller hockey on her high school teams. Jasey recognizes the rewards of giving back to the community by fostering kittens for Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. She has also participated in Interact, St. Baldrick’s and co-founded the 4-H club at her school. Jasey has also created ribbons for her teams to wear to honor her fellow classmates that have passed in the last year. She would love to create a legacy of sponsoring a child through Friends of Jacyln to join their team and make it a Palm Beach Central tradition. She will be majoring in exercise science and hopes to continue her community service activities into college. Jasey is thrilled to be going to Campbell University to make her mark where she will be playing in The Big South Conference.
