Talkow becomes the first player in Patriot League history to be honored as the Faceoff Specialist of the Year. The junior has played a crucial role for the Terriers this year – a season in which they reached a program-best national ranking of No. 16. Individually, he is second in the nation with a 0.695 faceoff winning percentage and ninth in ground balls per game with 6.62. He leads the League in both categories, helping the team as a whole lead the League with a 0.644 faceoff winning percentage – which ranks fifth in the nation. Earlier this season, Talkow was added to the Tewaarton Watch List, becoming the first Terrier in program history to be added to the list.
