Plant uses heroic Braveheart to defeat Wharton in Pool Play to advance to Championship Round Over 250 high school players from around Tampa and West Florida attended the first annual Tampa Pre-Season “Kick-Off” held at the University of Tamp this weekend.  With over 20 high school’s represented, the Black team from HP Plant defeated IMG in the championship game 13-11.  Plant advanced to the championship round by beating the Jokers Lacrosse Club while IMG advanced by defeating Cardinal Mooney.  Mooney went undefeated in Pool play.  Plant Senior Brian McSweeney was named tournament MVP.
