Ponte Vedra Gets Past Gulliver

The Ponte Vedra Sharks traveled south to play Gulliver Prep in their first of two Spring Break games. The Sharks defeated the Raiders 7-3 in a tight contest. Ponte Vedra jumped to a 2-0 lead during the first quarter with Dalton LeMaster leading off with the first goal of the game. At the half, the PV-vs-Gulliver-015_optSharks were ahead 4-1, where the score remained throughout the 3rd quarter. Gulliver gained some momentum scoring twice in the final quarter, but Ponte Vedra responded by scoring three goals to secure the win. Scoring for the Sharks were Dalton LeMaster 2G, Miles Silva 2G, Eric Applegate 1G, Logan Taucher 1G and Jason Randolph 1G. Goalie Ryan Applegate recorded 7 saves during the game. Ponte Vedra travels to Coral Shores to take on the Hurricanes on Tuesday.
