Chris Castellon led all scorers in a season opening win for Pope with 5 goals and 2 assists. Angelo Liguori added 4 goals and Mikey Urso had 2 goals and 3 assists.  Freshman Jared Chaloux had 1 goal and 1 assist.  The Eagles’ stand out defender got his season off to a good start as Joey Giuffrida caused 7 turnovers and had 5 takeaways. Calvary Christian was led by David Salvatelli.  Calvary Christian (0-1) will regroup and get ready to travel to Ransom Everglades on Friday.  Pope (1-0) will head to Dwyer (0-1) on Thursday evening.
