Pope John Paul II Senior Makes a Difference with Lax4AllYouth

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
John (Jack) McMahon, a senior at Pope John Paul II High School in Boca Raton is making a difference in his community. Jack has created a community outreach program called Lax4AllYouth. He and a group of volunteers travel to various locations to introduce the game of lacrosse to disadvantaged and inner city youth in the community. Jack came up with idea and put together a group of volunteers who share his passion for the game of lacrosse as a way to make a difference in the community in November of 2012. Hard work and persistence has paid off.  Jack has built a successful, heart centered program that is growing and will be providing an afterschool program as well as monthly clinics. His vision is to grow Lax4AllYouth beyond just providing instruction and mentorship. He is hoping to raise money and receive equipment donations in an effort to help sponsor the kids who want to play in community leagues but cannot afford it. Lax4AllYouth is proudly sponsored Del Ray Beach Athletic Club.
