Pope’s Drew Minchew has committed to Roanoke.  Drew was recently featured as one of our top uncommitted seniors.  Drew finished the 2014 season with 41 goals and 36 assists leading Pope to a 12-5 record.  He played his club lacrosse for the Florida Swashbucklers and Florida Elite. Pope’s Head Coach, Andy Bolger, said that, “Drew is a dynamic player with tremendous athletic ability. He can dodge with either hand which make him a very tough match up for the opposing defenses. … He is quiet and leads by example. A pleasure to coach.” Drew will be joining fellow Floridians Jake Legates of St. Andrew’s and Julian Taylor of Plant at Roanoke.
