Ray Ryan Named Volunteer Assistant for Men’s Lacrosse

From FSCMocs.com Ray Ryan has been named a volunteer assistant men’s lacrosse coach at Florida Southern College. His duties will include working with midfielders, assisting with the offense, and running the substitution. “Ray is a great young coach who is eager to learn and committed to helping student-athletes succeed at the next level,” said head coach Marty Ward. Prior to coming to Florida Southern, Ryan played three season of college lacrosse for SUNY Geneseo where he was a two-time All-SUNYAC selection at midfield. He also led the midfielders in goals and assist, scoring 30 in his senior season. He was selected for the USILA Division 3 senior all-star game, where he scored three goals and one assist to lead the North to a win. Before transferring to SUNY Geneseo, Ryan played one season for C.W. Post, which went 11-3. Ryan was a three sport athlete at Corcoran High School. He was named to the All-League and All-Central New York teams twice.  While at Corcoran he scored three fourth quarter goals to snap West Genesee 56-game winning streak. Ryan holds a Bachelors Degree in History from SUNY Geneseo.
