We have spoken with Rollins’ Director of Public Affairs, Lauren Bradley, who offered some clarification as to the temporary suspension of the men’s lacrosse team. The team’s temporary suspension does not indicate that the season will be canceled but simply that the team is currently not allowed to hold practice. She further stressed that the investigation is not over alleged NCAA recruiting violations but allegations of potential violations to institutional recruitment policies and allegations of misconduct against the code of conduct that the school publishes on its’ website.  The incident(s) apparently took place during this fall semester. Ms. Bradley declined to give further details pending the investigation process.
