Offensively, in particular, the Buckeyes were exceedingly impressive. Fast, crisp passing and playing with a high I.Q. for when to push the pace and when to move the ball, the Buckeyes seemed to score at will when they wanted to. Offensively, Jackie Cifarelli was one of the most impressive players to watch all afternoon. A solid quarterbacking offensive leader, Cifarelli plays with a knowledge of where to be and when — and when to move the ball. She makes her teammates around her better every time she touches the ball. Also impressive on the afternoon was senior attacker Katie Chase. Chase, a dominating physical presence, was great on draw controls and a force to be reckoned with on the attacking end. Lastly, rookie Lauren Sherry was a show-stopper from start to finish. One of the most athletic players on the lineup — and on the afternoon — Sherry should have an immediate impact in the Big Ten ranks. Please read the rest of the write up at InsideLacrosse.com
