On Friday evening they rolled into Lake Highland prep and opened their season with a 16-9 victory over last year’s State Championship runners up. Saturday they headed over the Winter Park High School and scored another victory over one of Central Florida’s premier programs 16-10.
Conor Whipple had 3 goals and 2 assists for Saint Andrews while Matthew Krecicki and Andrew Nugent led the scoring for the Wildcats with 3 apiece.
Winter Park (3-1) takes on Lake Nona (2-2) in a district game on Wednesday and will host Ponte Vedra (3-1) on Thursday. Lake Highland travels to Dr. Phillips (2-2) on Wednesday.
