SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo women’s lacrosse team fell to Seton Hill, 15-9, on Saturday evening in non-conference action at University Turf Stadium.
Saint Leo saw Kaylah Walstad, Katherine Larson, and Abbie Ross tally two goals apiece, while both goalkeepers Rebecca Halley and Erin Davis recorded six saves.
The Lions gave up 11 free position shots, but Seton Hill only converted five. The Lions had five attempts and turned three.

How it happened
1H | Seton Hill scored the first goal of the game, but the Lions rebounded to score two straight to take the lead. Seton Hill would tack on two more before Saint Leo would go on a run of their own. Leslie Ferguson, Abbie Ross, Caroline Fraser, and Katherine Larson would score over a four-minute stretch to give the Lions a 6-3 lead with 11:04 to play. However, the Griffins would close the quarter with five goals to take an 8-6 lead. | SHU 8-6
2H | Saint Leo would come out firing, scoring the first three goals of the half to take the lead back. Sabrina Sanacore started things off as Kaylah Walstad found her for the score. Larson would tack on her second of the game on a free position shot, and then Walstad would add a goal of her own. However, Seton Hill would tie the game back up at 9-all with 15:58 left to play, and then a minute later they would score the game-winning goal. The Griffins scored another five goals to close the game. | SHU 15-9
Points to Note
Saint Leo went 12 of 15 on clear attempts while adding 13 ground balls.
Kaylah Walstad finished with a team-high three points with two goals and an assist. She also added two GBs and two draw controls.
Delaney Chrisco finished with a team-best two caused turnovers.
