On a beautiful night in Melbourne Sebastian River beat Eau Gallie in a district 18 showdown. Eau Gallie jumped up early taking lead. But by half time Sebastian had a one goal lead. The final was 10-7. Sebastian River Senior attackman Jon Hurst who is one of only 4 seniors, surrounded by freshmen came up big with five goals and 1 assist. The 6’1 190 pound Hurst has quietly put up 24 goals in the first 6 games. Hurst had 29 all last year. The crowd on hand really enjoyed when SR defenseman Dan Ramos took it coast to coast for his second goal of the season.
