Second Annual STX Paradise Shootout to be Held in Naples, FL November 3rd-4th

(August 31st, Baltimore, Md.)– Corrigan Sports Enterprises, Inc., (CSE) the creator of the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic, announced today the second annual STX Paradise Shootout will take place November 3rd-4th in the eight lit Bermuda grass fields of North Collier Regional Park in Naples, Fl. The popular high school lacrosse boys lacrosse club tournament is open to five age groups: U18 Elite, U18 Varsity, U16/JV, U15, and U13. Lee Corrigan, President of CSE, said: “We have a lot of momentum based on the success of last year’s inaugural tournament. We expect the number of participating teams to grow along with the event’s reputation.” In addition to the great tournament action University of Notre Dame head coach Kevin Corrigan, who led the Fighting Irish to the Div. I Final Four in 2012, will conduct a clinic highlighting college lacrosse recruiting. In all, more than 30 college coaches will be in attendance to evaluate the top players who will be on hand.  Club coaches and high school coaches will get the opportunity to mingle directly with the college coaches Friday night at the coaches welcome reception at the Naples Beach Hotel. In addition to drawing the attention of the top collegiate lacrosse programs in the country, Inside Lacrosse will be on hand to report on the action. The roster of teams participating includes the nationally ranked Roughrider lacrosse program, who captured both the Elite and Varsity division titles at last year’s Paradise Shootout.  The Roughrider Elite and Select teams will return with more than 23 of its players that have committed to various college lacrosse programs.  The tournament format will be pool play followed by playoffs to crown a champion in each division. Teams are guaranteed a minimum of four games over the course of the two days and every member of each winning team will receive a gift from global sporting goods leader STX. Later in November (16th-18th) CSE returns to Naples and brings with them the very Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) President’s Cup at the same facility.
