Noah Menendez, M, Tampa Jesuit (Fla.)-Florida 22/2014: Nice group of players from down south made up Florida 22, which I saw in a game against Team Dallas. Menendez led the team at the X with a strong face-off game, pushing the ball upfield when he won (had him for an assist). From InsideLacrosse.com’s coverage of Maverik Showtime – Andrew Packer, A, Benjamin School (Fla.) Earning MVP honors on the night, Packer almost quietly registered four goals and an assist. He possesses excellent hands, throwing great fakes and showing off a quick release all night. Attacks well from a variety of angles and while he doesn’t have an amazing burst of speed, he moved well off ball and always in the right spot. Stephen Chase, A, MacLay School (Fla.) The lefty, originally from Syracuse, has continued to stick out with his knack for getting open and canning his shots. Finishing with two goals and an assist, I loved his ability to finish despite getting crushed and lifted off the ground. Tough, intelligent and smooth player who will be a nice pickup for whoever gets him.
