South Florida Swashbucklers Perform Well At The Carolina Summer Shootout

Coach Andy Bolger and his South Florida Swashbucklers headed up to the Carolina Summer Shootout with two teams.  The Swashbucklers White Team went undefeated during the showcase going 6-0.   The last game of the tournament featured two undefeated teams going head to head with the Swash winning it in a Braveheart!  Niko Morfogen & NIck McCabe won the Braveheart in an excitng finish.  The Swashbucklers “Black” team also had a great outing finishing 4-2 for the tournament.

Terrell Sands, of St. Edwards School, got some national attention from Mike Loveday of www.studentsports.com in his “best of the best” section on the Carolina Summer Shootout. Terrell Sands, St. Edward’s (Vero Beach, Fla.) Swashbucklers Black, midfield, 2014 
Sands is fast, uses a long pole and can outrun most other middies. The rising senior used bursts of speed to move around defenders and get the ball upfield and into an attackers stick.
