
South Plantation’s Emma Rose to Gardner-Webb University This Fall

Emma Rose will become part of the first recruiting class for Gardner-WEbb University. The program is to become the ninth member of the Big South Conference. Emma graduated a year early with honors and a 3.8 GPA. She was varsity team captain and finished her 3 year varsity career at South Planation with 127 goals and 78 assist. She played her club lacrosse for the East Coast Reds.
She intends on majoring in Political Science with minors in French and Economics. She will be participating in both lacrosse and ROTC at GWU. She would like to thank her HS coach Mike Collins for his continuous support and David Basile for teaching her that lacrosse and life go hand in hand. She would also like to thank her parents for being her anchor and providing her with the support system she needed to succeed.
