Men’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Andrew Kew / University of Tampa / So. / Attack / Oakville, Ontario
Kew is named Offensive Player of the Week for the second time following 16 points across two Tampa wins this week. In the win over #19 Colorado Mesa, Kew led the team in goals with five, also tacking on an assist and a ground ball. The Oakville, Ontario also scored seven times while adding two assists and a ground ball against conference foe Rollins. Kew’s seven goals ties the school record for most goals in one game. The sophomore is currently the nation’s leading goal scorer. Following the wins, Tampa is now 8-3 overall and 1-0 in league play.
Men’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Daniel Flock / Florida Tech / So. / Goalkeeper / Ellicott City, Maryland
Flock takes Defensive Player of the Week honors a second time this year after a key performance in Florida Tech’s SSC opening victory over No. 17 Lynn on Saturday. The sophomore goaltender finished with 16 saves, 13 in the second half, while facing 49 total shots to help the Panthers knock off the Fighting Knights 11-10 on the road. The Ellicott City, Maryland product also collected four ground balls in the contest as FIT won its fourth game in a row. With the victory, Flock improved his season record to 5-4.
Men’s Lacrosse Specialist of the Week
Sam Watts / University of Tampa / Jr. / Faceoff / Buffalo, New York
Watts is named Specialist of the Week for a third time this season after going 43-of-53 (.811) in the faceoff circle and picking up 28 ground balls in two victories. During a 15-7 victory over No. 19 Colorado Mesa, Watts went 17-25 on faceoffs while also adding eight ground ball pickups, netting a goal, and adding an assist. The Buffalo, New York native then went 26-28 in faceoffs against RV Rollins and also picked up 20 ground balls in the 18-11 victory. The Spartans are 8-3 overall and 1-0 in SSC play.

Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week
Kallie German / Rollins College / So. / Midfield / Centreville, Maryland
German has earned her second Offensive Player of the Week award after scoring eight goals and two assists in two victories for the Tars. The Centreville, Maryland native had her top performance of the weekend in a victory against No. 16 Grand Valley State as she netted four goals and added an assist while also contributing on the defensive side as she added two ground balls, one draw control, and caused two turnovers. Then she also scored four goals and had one assist against Shepherd. With German’s help, the Tars have won nine straight and hold onto a record of 10-2.
Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week
Lindsay Van Beck / Rollins College / So. / Defender / Atlanta, Georgia
Van Beck has been awarded her second Defensive Player of the Week after picking up seven ground balls, causing seven turnovers, earns two draw controls, and scoring a goal on the week. The Atlanta, Georgia native had her best performance of the week in the 16-10 victory over No. 16 Grand Valley State when she had four ground balls and caused a game high four turnovers. She also posted three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 16-2 victory over Shepherd. She has helped the Tars string together a nine game win streak and a 10-2 overall record.
