By: Wells Dusenbury of ESPN760.comOne of the rallying cries for St. Andrew’s throughout the 2012 season has been, “taking back what’s ours.”On Saturday night, the Scots finally did so.In a rematch of last year’s state championship, St. Andrew’s knocked off Lake Highland Prep 16-10 to avenge last year’s loss and recapture the state title.Early on it looked like Lake Highland Prep might make it two in a row after jumping out to an early 5-1 lead. That feeling would be short-lived though as the Scots went on a 7-2 run to take an 8-7 lead into halftime. From there, St. Andrew’s asserted its dominance, outscoring the Highlanders by four in the 3rd quarter to take a 14-9 lead and put the game out of reach.Scots attackman Conor Whipple led St. Andrew’s with 4 goals, while senior attackman Jordan Todd added 3 in the win.
