STX Paradise Shootout Set to Return to Naples November 9-10

The 2013 STX Paradise Shootout boys’ tournament will take place November 9-10 at North Collier Regional Park in Naples, Florida. This is the third year the STX Paradise Shootout has visited Naples.
The 2012 lineup included several out of state teams including the Maryland RoughRiders, the Adrenaline Topics, and Team Carolina. The Adrenaline Tropics took home the championship in the Elite Division with a 9-6 victory overt the Maryland RoughRiders. New Wave Blue took the Varsity Division while the RoughRiders captured the JV hardware. The Killer Bass and MadLax took the U15 and U13 division championships respectively.
The 2013 event is set to feature top notch competition in five divisions: U13, U15, high school JV, high school Varsity, and high school Elite. MD Roughriders have confirmed that they are coming back this year along with the Adrenaline Tropics. Two new out of state teams have also confirmed participation; The Buffalo Wild Wings out of Maryland and the St. Louis Samurai. Florida teams that have committed include Blue Devil Elite,
Lacrosse Club Orlando, Florida Swashbucklers, Florida Elite, Miami Stone Crabs, Tampa Elite, MadLax, and RJ Dawson’s new team, The Swordfish.
All Champions are awarded Championship T-Shirts and STX products. Players in the high school divisions are provided extensive bios in recruiting booklets for college coaches.
In addition to the great competition, the event organizers plan to host other events throughout the weekend such as clinics, demonstrations, and seminars put on by some of the top coaches in the country.
The STX Paradise Shootout is put on by Corrigan Sports Enterprises. Corrigan Sports Enterprises is a nationwide leader in sports marketing and event management. CSE has done events ranging from marathons, PGA golf, pro beach volleyball, to basketball and lacrosse.
In the lacrosse world Corrigan Sports is best known as the producer of the Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Classic which hosts the top seniors (boys and girls) from across the nation in a showcase all-star game of the very best as they complete their high school career. Along with the senior game, the Under Armour Underclass Tryouts and Tournament have become an important recruiting event each summer as hundreds of college coaches attend the regional tryouts and Underclass Tournament at Towson each summer. This past summer the Under Armour South Region Try-Out was held at the University of Central Florida in Orlando.
On the girls side, CSE has partnered with the IWLCA (Intercollegiate Womens Lacrosse College Association) to put on four recruiting tournaments throughout the year that draw an average of 350 college coaches and total over 750 club teams. The IWLCA DeBeers Presidents Cup is held at the Wide World of Sports at Disney and has already sold out with a record 192 teams. The Presidents Cup is scheduled for Nov 22-24.
