Sweetlax Florida Announces First Commit, 2020 Defender Kaden Brothers to Johns Hopkins

Sweetlax Lacrosse Director of Recruiting, Kevin Martin is proud to announce Sweetlax’s first verbal College Commit for the Sweetlax Florida program. 2020 Defender Kaden Brothers from Vero Beach has committed to Johns Hopkins University. Brothers is excited about his decision to continue playing at the Collegiate level while receiving a great education !  He says about the recruiting process, “It is like the build up of excitement for Christmas and opening the best present ever!” Coach Martin commented, “Kaden is a leader with great work ethic who is very coachable and always trying to get better. Sweetlax couldn’t be prouder to have Kaden as our 1st Eight Grade commit and 1st Florida commit, congrats to him and his family! We are looking forward to watching him develop as a player over the next few years.” Interview with Kaden: 1. Why did you choose Johns Hopkins to continue your education?  We chose Johns Hopkins University because of the tradition of lacrosse, the quality of the lacrosse athletic and academic programs, and the opportunities it will provide for my future on and off the field.  My family and I had an immediate comfort and personable connection with Coach Pietramala. 2. What tip would you give other players looking to play at the College level? To visit all of the colleges of interest during the recruiting process. 3. What has been your favorite part of Sweetlax Lacrosse: Being able to learn while having fun with the Coaching staff 4. What is your favorite subject in school? History however Math has become a close second. 5. What is your favorite vacation spot? Visiting my family in Belgium and touring Europe. 6. Do you have a favorite lacrosse moment so far? Would have to be the visit to Johns Hopkins University and verbally committing!! 7. What do you do in your personal time to improve your game? I keep training to become bigger, stronger, faster.
