St. Andrew’s sophomore attacker, Taylor Mullen, has committed to University of Vermont. Taylor plays club ball for Florida Select Lacrosse.
“I am so thankful to be given the opportunity to play Division 1 lacrosse at the University of Vermont. Vermont is a beautiful school that has everything that I love. It’s a perfect sized school with a great medical program, which I’m so excited to get to be a part of and there is also so much school spirit. Burlington is such an amazing college town and also has the best food ever! It’s honestly so surreal that I am now going to be able to play D1 at my mothers alma mater. So excited for the journey ahead!”
“I also want to get the chance to say thank you to my coaches Rob Wurzburger and John McClain for helping to push me to the best I can be. They are two of the greatest coaches in the world and I could never imagine being here today without them. Thanks to my St. Andrews high school coaches Mike Skonieczki and Allie Primo and my amazing Scot family! Also I want to say thank you to my coach and also my father Richard Mullen for first of all teaching me the game I have come to know and love and for giving me tough love when I needed it most. You have shaped me to be the person and lacrosse player I have always wanted to be. Also my mom, my brother, Lu Lu and Pop Pop who have always been so supportive. They are my biggest fans and I don’t know where I would be without them! Lastly my friends the ones who keep me grounded; you all have pushed me to my greatest potential and I am so thankful to have such amazing friends that I can share my life with for ever and ever. Thanks so much to everyone in my life for being so awesome!
Go Catamounts!!!!!”
