Little to the knowledge of the South Florida team, their game against the East Carolina Pirates in Greenville, North Carolina would get cancelled due to the accumulation of snow and ice on the field Sunday. This made the game Saturday at Wake Forest a very important game for the Bulls. The first half included a very low scoring affair with the half time score being 2-3 in the Demon Deacon’s favor. The shots were 15-23 Wake Forest, but shortly that would turn around in the second half for the Bulls. After South Florida buried fifty percent of their shots in the third quarter, they came out firing with  16 shots on goal almost doubling their game total so far. The Bulls scored five times in the fourth quarter to come from behind, after playing catch up and getting the victory 9-8. It was a all around team effort and though behind the majority of the game, the Bulls of South Florida remained poised and keep themselves in the game to prevail.
