Timber Creek and Lake Brantley played in a fantastic see-saw battle that came down to the final three minutes of the game.   Jake Rooney (’12 Hofstra) led Timber Creek in scoring with six goals and an assist.  Kyle Plaugher (Florida Southern) had three goals and an assist.  He also scored the game winner with 3:00 left in the game. Blake Gwizaldski and Max Bush (Jacksonville) both scored three points in the game.  Ian Gehlbach led the Patriots in scoring with three goals and Adam Van Valkenburg, Tim Newton, and John Dougherty all had three points each.  Ryan Harrison had a stand out night in the goal making several big saves.  The big story of the night, however, was the untested Timber Creek defense that stiffened to hold the Patriots to one score in the fourth quarter.  After a shaky start, they settled down and frustrated the Lake Brantley attack.  Andrew McCormick made a huge save in the closing seconds of the game to hold on.  The win for the Wolves ended an amazing 36 game home winning streak for the Patriots.
