Delray Beach, Florida – June 9^th, 2014 – Seeking to fill a void in the South Florida lacrosse community, Top Cheddar Lacrosse has announced its inaugural camp today. Top Cheddar Lacrosse, or “TCL,” will be running its debut camp June 23^rd through 26^th at St. Vincent’s School in Delray Beach Florida and a second session in Tampa is currently in the works. Top Cheddar Lacrosse is dedicated to providing young, enthusiastic lacrosse players with the full lacrosse experience. Top Cheddar separates itself from the competition with not only its focus on all the necessary skills and fundamentals required for success on the field, but “focuses on the things necessary for off the field success as well,” says Sten Jernudd, one of the founders of the camp. Mr. Jernudd played lacrosse at Cornell University before graduating this May, where he was a 3-time Ivy League Champion while maintaining the highest grade point average on the Cornell Lacrosse Team. Kevin Finneran, a pillar of the South Florida lacrosse community and former MLL and Team USA star, as well as other collegiate and high school players, join him on the Top Cheddar Lacrosse staff. Mr. Jernudd was extremely enthusiastic about coaching in Florida, “coming from a non-traditional lacrosse hotbed myself, I can’t wait to head to South Florida and see how the game is growing down there,” he said. He emphasized the inclusive nature of the camp, and said, “To us, it doesn’t matter if you’ve never picked up a stick before. We just want to come and share the game we love.
