Trinity Prep Plans Lacrosse Benefit for John Michael Night

Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
John Michael Night, a Trinity Prep senior and Mercer commit, suffered a dissected artery in his Basal Artery which caused a stroke.  The stroke damaged a key part of his brain that controls all voluntary movement below his eyes leaving him with Locked-In syndrome. The rehab required for John Michael is very extensive and costly. To assist the Night family, Mercer Men’s Lacrosse and Rollins Women’s Lacrosse are teaming up with Trinity Prep School to host a clinic and game. The benefit is scheduled for January 23rd with the boys and girls clinics from 9:00 – 11:00 am. A $40 donation will get all boys and girls from elementary to high school instruction from Mercer and Rollins coaches.   Mercer College along with Alumni and friends take on Rollins College, Alumni, and friends at 1:00 in an exhibition game.  A $5.00 donation is requested for admission.   A bake sale and raffle round out the scheduled festivities. Trinity Prep School is located at 5700 Trinity Prep Lane in Winter Park,  off of Aloma Avenue  just west of Tuskawilla Road.  Clinic attendees are asked to pre-register at www.Rollinswlax.com.
