The University High School Cougars started out their 2011 season wtih a victory at home over new cross town rival Lake Nona. Kyle McDavid, Tyler Boncore’, & Keith McDavid provided for the majority of the offense. Freshman Bruce Preeschl made his Central Florida lacrosse debut & showed true natural athleticism. Lake Nona’s goalie, Matt Herrera #20 received the P.A.W.S. Award for sporstmanship from the UHS game captains & coaching staff after the contest.
