On Saturday night, the University of Alabama Crimson Tide rolled into Tampa to take on the 5-3 University of South Florida Bulls underneath the lights. The Bulls were coming off their first loss in the past five games to Southern Methodist University after a few unlucky goals were scored late to put the Mustangs ahead. The Bulls were looking to bounce back, picking up where they left off after a scrimmage win over the University of Tampa Spartans coming back from spring break. In the beginning of the first half, the Bulls didn’t get off to the start that they wanted, and quickly fell behind by three goals. Battle tested throughout the season though with plenty of time left, the Bulls would score the next six of eight, to take a seven to six lead into the half. Coming out of the half, the Bulls exploded with six goals, with help from the faceoff men, while only giving up two goals on the other side of the field. They never looked back. The fourth quarter would prove that the Bulls could possess the ball, and closed out the game on top with a score of 16-11.
