UT Women: Tampa Trailblaze Through Pioneers 21-7

  • Allie Popelar started the game with the first goal as she was assisted by Amanda Rom at 28:29.
  • Shortly after Popelar struck again to give Tampa a 2-0 lead.
  • Natalie Carraway fired at 23:33.
  • Rachel Crawford has her first goal of the game with an assist from Carraway.
  • A goal by Carraway from Rom at 22:00 makes it 4-0.
  • Crawford with her second goal of the game with 19:03.
  • Tusculum scored back to back goals to make it 6-2.
  • Back to back goals from Caroline Forester with an assist from Rom and Popelar respectively cushioned the lead to 8-2.
  • Maggie Gladden took the free position shot and scored for Tampa.
  • Tusculum scored again to make it 9-3.
  • Gladden scored her second goal of the game at 9:49.
  • Senior Amanda Voges took back to back goals to give Tampa a 12-3 lead.
  • Alexa Scudillo was assisted from Rom with 4:52 left in the half.
  • Voges scored the final goal of the half to make it 14-3 with an assist from Cali Edgar.
  2nd Half
  • Forester opened the second half with a goal at 28:38, assisted by Carraway. 
  • Edgar followed her with Gladden to give Tampa a 16-3 lead. 
  • Gladden scored her third goal of the game with a free position goal.
  • Mallary Weinsz tallied a goal at 22:12 with a man-up goal.
  • Tusculum came back with three goals to make it 18-6.
  • Carraway struck at 13:10 with an unassisted goal.
  • Voges with her second goal of the game was assisted by Carraway gave Tampa a 20-6 lead.
  • Gladden scored for the fourth time to tie the school record with goals in a game with 21.
  • Tusculum brought the score to 21-7 with 3:38 on the clock.

  • Carraway led the team with six points, three goals and three assists.
  • Gladden had five points, four goals and one assist, with one groundball and one assist.
  • Voges had four goals.
  • Rom had four assists and one groundball.
