Senior Vero Beach Mid-Fielder Abby Shields sign’s NLI for Furman University. Shields, a 2014 1st Team All American and member of the U-19 U.S. Women’s U-19 National Team will be striving for her 4th State Championship with the Fighting Indians and the programs 10th consecutive State Title. “I am so thankful to be apart of such a tremendous program. My coaches and teammates have pushed me all the way and I cannot thank them enough”. I am looking forward to playing D-1 Lacrosse at Furman and continuing to grow the sport in the South.”
