Controlling the pace of the game, the Wellington Wolverines were able to spread out their offensive attack by utilizing many different players in their in-District victory. Senior Attackman Jason D’Aoust led the charge putting up 3 goals with 2 assists followed by Junior Patrick Oporto with 2 Goals and 3 assists.
Getting in on the action was Senior middie Zac Meskin with 2 goals and Ryan Blum and Kevin Burch adding a score each. A stingy Wellington defense kept the Cobras to 2. Defensivemen Chris Englert and Bryce Dalton stood out and Goalie Logan Masta had 13 saves. Wellington moves to 3-1 and plays Jupiter on Tuesday.
