  A great look at the second Girls’ semifinal game!   Excerpt: In its second varsity season, American Heritage-Delray shocked the Florida lacrosse community, reaching states with a roster made up mostly of 8th graders, freshmen and sophomores. On Friday, the upstart Stallions looked to pull off another stunner in the FHSAA semifinals in Jupiter against juggernaut Vero Beach — winner of 10 consecutive state championships. Instead, Heritage’s rapid ascent came to an end as the Stallions fell to the Fighting Indians 12-6 at Velocity Credit Union Stadium at Jupiter High School. “You have to play to almost near perfection with a team like [Vero Beach],” American Heritage-Delray coach John McClain said. “We hustled our brains off — we were in the game.
