Written by Lee Roggenburg on . Posted in .
The West Orange Warriors knocked-off previously undefeated Trinity Catholic Thursday night on the road with a 11-5 victory. Sophomore Bailey Sarp led all scorers with 5 goals, taking advantage of numerous penalty minutes by the Celtics to get shots on goal. Junior Nick Poidomani anchored the Warriors offense by adding 2 goals of his own to go along with 3 assists. Senior Josh Neu and junior Connor McElvaney each scored twice, while McElvaney assisted on 2 other goals. The Warriors’ defense was led by senior goalie Nick Graham’s 17 saves on the night. Defenders Trenton McGee (Jr.) and Ben Irwin (So.) combined to hold a talented Celtic attack group at bay. West Orange will travel to take on a strong, undefeated Hagerty squad on Monday.
