Wharton’s Captain and standout attackman/midfielder, Nate Bleckley, has officially committed to The University of Tampa. Bleckley played club lacrosse for West Florida Lacrosse, New Tampa Chill, Florida National, and Tampa Bay Fire. Bleckley was a two-time Bluechip 225 All-Star, a Brine All-American, a 1st Team All-County attackman and 1st Team All-County middie. Bleckley will join James Davison (University of Tampa), as Wharton graduates to receive an athletic scholarship to play college lacrosse.
“I can’t thank my teammates and coaches enough for supporting me and pushing me to work my hardest on and off the field throughout my lacrosse career. I especially want to thank Coach Dan McCall and Coach Dave DiSciorio for developing me into the lacrosse player I am today. Also I am very fortunate to have such an amazing family supporting me along the way. I am looking forward to starting a new chapter of my life at The University of Tampa, and I can’t wait to represent Tampa at the collegiate level!”
