Winter Park Runs Away From Timber Creek 18-9

Winter Park’s offense came out with a vengance, leading at halftime 11-3. The Wildcats offense was lead by sophomore attackman, Thatcher Clark, who had 7 goals and 3 assists. Senior attackmen Ty Price and Matt Krecicki each added 5 goals.
Timber Creek made a push in the third quarter but but the Wildcats continued to answer. With 7 minutes in penalties in the fourth quarter for the Wolves it was all Winter Park down the stretch as the Wildcats were able to stretch out to a 18-9 victory.
Timber Creek middie, Mike McCallister teamed up with attackman Scott Turner: McCallister had 5 goals, while Turner had 3 goals and 3 assists.
Winter Park (10-8) will face Lake Howell in the first round of playoffs next week. Timber Creek drops to 7-9 and will take on University High School on Wednesday.
