Why did you choose this college?
I chose Oberlin because of the strong academics and because of the new defensive coordinator from Miami.

What Advice Would You Give Those Starting the Recruiting Process?
I would say to be patient and to be yourself. Coaches love to see someone who is vocal and excited to play the game. Not someone who is scared and worried about what other people think of how they are playing.

Who Would You Like to Thank for Getting You to Here?
I would like to thank the best coaching staff in South Florida Coach Al Bellando and Coach Joey Bellando for getting me to where I am today. I would also like to thank Matt Salas who believed in me from the very beginning in my goalie career when I was a 7th grader and teaching me the art of being a keeper. Lastly, I would like to thank my family specifically my dad for going through all the stress of being a goalie parent and taking me to every single tournament, game, and practice.

What are your first memories of the sport?
I have many first memories of the sport, but my all- time favorite memory is when I started as a 7th grader for the varsity team in the well known Belen vs Columbus rivalry game and played pretty well. After that game, I started every single game and never looked back. I’m pretty sure I may have the most starts in the state of Florida, but I have to check that.

What is Your Favorite Memory From Your High School Career?
My favorite memory from High School is definitely hosting St. Andrews on our home turf my freshman year and having all of Miami and the lacrosse community watching and cheering us on. I have never seen that stadium so packed and filled with so much energy. We ended up running out of gas after tying them 4-4 in the end of the third quarter, but that day I will cherish forever.

What is Your Stick Brand? And Why?
I used to rock with an Eclipse 2, but after speaking to PLL goalie Matt DeLuca, I switched to the Warrior Nemesis because of the channel is creates for outlets and because of the great rebound control.

Which Lacrosse Player Do You Most Want to Have a Meal With and Why?
I would choose Brett Queener just because I love his playing style and I think it lines up with my playing style as well. He is super athletic even though he is a goalie, and loves to run out of the crease and dive for balls. He’s also very vocal and a leader on the field.

Do You Watch College & Pro Games and What Are You Watching for to Make You a Better Player?
I love to watch the PLL because there are so many different playing styles that are so unorthodox and not commonly taught to the younger generation. On the Waterdogs you have Dillon Ward who plays with a huge arc and then you have Blaze Riorden who loves to explode with his body and not so much on his hands.

What’s Your Go-To Meal After a Game?
My All-Time Go-To meal after a game specifically in club ball, is Chick-fil-a. It’s honestly a tradition my dad and I started many years ago.

What’s the One Thing Your Teammates Would be Surprised to Know About You?
My teammates would be surprised to know that I run a lot. On my free time even though I’m a goalie, I love to run later in the evening around 6 to 7 miles a few times a week at around a 7:20 min pace.
