Word came down late yesterday that Todd Francis, a Final Four HC for the past three years, has been let go by Plant.

According to sources, Coach Francis was told of his termination in an afternoon meeting with Principal Kimi Hellenberg and Assistant Principal for Administration/Athletic Director Evanitta Omenstetter.

Unfortunately, the information was acquired after school had closed, so FLN has not been able to contact either for an explanation at this point.

Coach Francis had a record of 101-26 for his 7 years at the school and made the Final Four 3 times, as noted. GPA results were exemplary, as 6 times the team was awarded an award for that. Plant also has produced a number of college players, and this graduating class continues that.
