PRESS RELEASE

One day after being named AAC Defensive Player of the Week, junior Cam Provines has been named as the NAIA Defensive Player of the Week. The Palm City, Fla. native was nearly perfect (17-18) on faceoffs against the No. 4 Cumberlands (Ky) Patriots, picked up 14 groundballs, and scored his second goal of the season. Provines, who is Keiser’s career leader in ground ball pickups and faceoff wins, has now received his first national weekly honor. This is the first NAIA weekly award for Keiser since February 28, 2017, when Justin Flint was named NAIA Offensive Player of the Week.
