Rivalry on the River to match Northeast Florida lacrosse teams

Through years of chasing state championships, and ultimately winning one in 2019, Ponte Vedra boys lacrosse coach Tom West has been hoping to find opportunities to help move the sport into the spotlight.

Now, one is on the way.

“It’s come so far,” West said. “We’re putting lots of Division I, Division II, Division III club players out there now. That wasn’t the case 20 years ago. You were lucky if you had one or two.”
