We received the following letter from Ryan Smith, the Athletic Director at Benjamin:   Dear Benjamin Upper School Boys Lacrosse Parents and Student-Athletes: I am happy and excited to announce that Peter Cordrey has accepted the Head Boys Varsity Lacrosse coaching position at The Benjamin School. Coach Darren Lowe will move into the position of Director of Boys Lacrosse where he will assist with the management of the program at all levels. The school is very thankful to Darren for his continued commitment and dedication to The Benjamin School and our boys lacrosse program. We are elated to have two coaches with such incredible experience both in and out of lacrosse.  Our student-athletes will have two of the most respected individuals in lacrosse nationally leading the program. With their combined experience they will serve as outstanding coaches and mentors.   Highlights of Peter Cordrey Resume Graduated with an A.B. in Economics from Princeton University – Captain – 2 Time 1st Team All-Ivy Selection – 2 Time All-American (Honorable Mention) Received an MBA from Columbia University Coached at St. Peter’s Preparatory School, Summit Lacrosse Club, The Benjamin School and Columbia University Lacrosse Club Adjunct Professor at Seton Hall University Inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame and Manhasset Lacrosse Hall of Fame Serves as board member for the Tewaaraton Foundation Professionally Coach Cordrey worked as the Senior Managing Director at PGIM Fixed Income where he held the positions of Head of Distribution and Product Management, Head of Alternative Products and Head of Global Liquidity Sector. He also worked at Merrill Lynch (Director), Lehman Brothers (Senior Vice President) and EF Hutton (Banking Analyst). Married to Ellen Has 4 children that were involved in division 1 athletics at the following schools: University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University and Harvard  University. His youngest son will be a senior and is on the lacrosse team at Princeton. Please join me in welcoming Peter and Ellen Cordrey to The Benjamin School.
